blog fairy

so as you can tell i have not been updating my blog lately. i was really hoping the blog fairy would come and write my blog for me. during the night she could come, take my ideas, and when i wake up in the morning i would log in and my blog would be written. with all of my wishing and hoping the blog fairy did not come and write my posts.

so it is up to me!!! with a new year comes new goals. one of mine is to be more consistent on my blog...so for all of you out there that have come to read this you are going to have to put up with my posts, and writing errors...i was never a strong writer and that blog fairy is not coming!!!

here is the closest picture i had to a fairy. my little bumble bee is a year older and doesn't look so little anymore...

25 days of christmas

so my sister told me about this idea. it is a 25 days of christmas scrapbook...each day you will do something for christmas aaaaaaaand you then scrapbook it!!! the idea is you have the scrapbook done ahead of time and then all you have to do is insert the pictures and add journaling. well it would have helped if i got the scrapbook done. i decided to try it...my goal is to have the scrapbook done by christmas!!! so here is to my first 2 days of christmas!!! and not listening to my sister in the future!

day 1: we watched how the grinch stole christmas and ate popcorn!!!

day 2: yes, we made gingerbread houses and not only did i do it with my 2 children i thought it would be a great idea if they had a friend over so i had 4 kids making gingerbread houses! what was i thinking?!?! but we had a great time!!!
